The game is made with game engine's. That is how they are

Clickteam Fusion 2.5

It is powerful and I know how to use this one It has dragged drop coding which is powerful and easy :) It was used to make some game called Five Nights at Freddy's and also some game called Freedom Plant, but the real important stuff is that it was used to make some of the Speed Challenge games. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/speed-challenge-wiki/images/0/02/Computer.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/489?cb=20190902230134

Game maker

it is POOP GARBAGE but it was use to make sandwich,s speed challenge so it must be ok????? It was used to make Sandwich,s Speed Challenge: Speed Kills and some game nobody has ever heard of called Undertale.

The Games Factory 2

It's like Clickteam Fusion 2.5 but older and worse. It was used to make Adam,s Speed Chalenge and that's pretty much the only notable thing made with it for our purposes here.

Godot

Godot has never been used to make a Speed Challenge game so it's obviously an inferior choice to The Games Factory 2. It is debatable as to whether it is better or worse than ZZT.

ZZT

Was used to make Burger Joint which is the best video of game of all time ever

But it wasn't used to make a Speed Challenge game

So unfortunately it is debatable as to whether it is a better choice or a worse choice than Godot, when it would've had an easy time if a Speed Challenge game had been made in it

HTML5

Is not a game engine, why is this listed here?

Minecraft command blocks[edit | edit source]

Do not make a game using Minecraft command blocks.

For the sake of your sanity.

Unity[edit | edit source]

Pretty sure if you add in a "kit" somewhere in there you get a word for something much more appealing. Some kind of cat-looking thing I think, I dunno.

I don't know much about this engine okay? It doesn't have any Speed Challenge games made in it though.

Unreal Engine[edit | edit source]

Has thus far not be used to make any Speed Challenge games.

It is unreal to think that nobody has attempted it so far, am I right?

RPG Maker[edit | edit source]

A game engine tailored to making RPGs. It has not been used to make any Speed Challenge games, but it would be unfair to expect that out of an engine intended for something else.

Ya know, rocket-propelled grenades.

Dark Souls[edit | edit source]

Using Dark Souls to make games is the Dark Souls of game engines. You first have to discover some way to get your own code running in the game using only the game itself, which is so far removed from the game's intended purpose that it is by far the worst choice of game engine ever. Do not recommend as a game engine.

PyGame[edit | edit source]

Pretty much just Python but with stuff to make game development slightly easier.

Not very useful for making a Speed Challenge game and thus an inherently inferior choice to Dark Souls as a game engine. Obviously. Do not recommend as a game. Might be okay as a game engine though I dunno.

Nintendo Wii[edit | edit source]

There are so many ways to run custom code on it at this point that by golly, you probably could use it as a game engine if you tried hard enough.

But it hasn't been used to make any Speed Challenge games. 2/10 at least I can't say I don't recommend it so it's a better game engine than Dark Souls.

Pure, raw assembly code[edit | edit source]

This is not a game engine. This is here as a warning to not use assembly code for most purposes because you'll probably regret it if you do.

Besides, it's never been used to make a Speed Challenge game.
