Xenogunner 4 is not a speed challenge game, but is canon to the series regardless. It was released on March 1, 2020, following a prolonged development period of 472 days. It runs on the Personal Computer and leaks have shown it may be developed for the Personal Computer 2 and Android. It runs on a Game engine's called Clickteam Fusion 2.5.

Plot

Xenogunner 4 continues from the events of the game jam version of Xenogunner. After the Xenogunner's defeat, Mrs. Xeno Gunner vows revenge against King Zeta, and interrupts his afternoon tea. Nobody interrupts afternoon tea and gets away with it.

King Zeta leaves his house and finds a soldier of Mrs. Xeno Gunner, the Hotcold Gun, ready to attack him, with bees and turrets in tow. He easily destroys it and progresses to the beach where he hopes to catch a boat to Mrs. Xeno Gunner's luxury town island land, but is caught by the Digital Rights Management, a lone wolf attempting to stop King Zeta as he did not pay for this game, despite knowing that this game is free, he does not care, he did not pay for this game and for that he will pay.

He did not pay, in fact, and defeated DRM. After stealing a boat, he made it to Mrs. Xeno Gunner's luxury island by nightfall and proceeded to infiltrate the Maths Mansion, a largely unguarded building save for a horrible man named Bad Man who forces children caught misbehaving to play his math games. King Zeta finds the building guarded by an array of turrets and a sentient clock who predicted his arrival and entry, and manages to escape with his life, unlike the others. He arrives at Bad Man's chamber and discovers Bad Man has finally captured his nemesis Sad Man. After a rough pop quiz, King Zeta escapes with his GPA intact and Sad Man freed from his cage.

He arrives, finally, at the center of town, at Mrs. Xeno Gunner's Reality Show Extraordinaire. She anticipated his arrival and had a trap set in the form of another episode of her reality show, and explains the rules alongside the network executive she has enslaved helping her produce and air the show worldwide - if the challenger wins, they get a show of their own and Mrs. Xeno Gunner's show is cancelled, but the penalty for losing is death. King Zeta wins the show and Mrs. Xeno Gunner reacts poorly, killing the network executive before a faulty ratings monitor falls on top of her, squishing her. The crowd reacts with applause and King Zeta leaves, his revenge achieved and his mission complete.

Just kidding Paperust's brother, Snas, appears, while King Zeta is on a chill celebratory walk. He threatens to kill King Zeta, but suddenly happygreenfrog appears out of nowhere to serve King Zeta a cease and desist for violating his copyright on Xenogunner, and the two fight in space. He is nearly defeated but overtakes King Zeta, removing King Zeta's arm in the process. Snas shows up abruptly and knocks happygreenfrog off the arena, before laughing and threatening King Zeta again. The screen goes black and King Zeta is heard shouting in pain before the credits roll.

After this, King Zeta is free to experience the plot again over and over and over but it always ends either the same way or in his death with no escape. He can even be Luigi???

Carl

Carl, as he appears at the end of Luigi Mode

Carl appears in Xenogunner 4 after completing the game in Luigi Mode, and also appears when the game enters into an error state. There's are rumors that there is hidden Carl content in the game's files.
